Diamonds

3 methods been utilised to recover the diamonds from the samples.

Caustic fusion – Complete dissolution of the rock sample to recover diamonds.

DMS (Dense media separation) – Pilot plant mimicking commercial processing techniques used during the commercial production of diamonds in mining operations.

Attrition milling – Prolong crushing of the rock to maximize the recovery of diamond indicator minerals and diamonds.
